The Certified Auto Recycler or C.A.R. Program is backed by knowledgeable staff and an Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) Certification Committee made up of dedicated auto recyclers to provide the most practical compliance assistance in the industry.
The Certification program uses an online record to guide participants through the path to compliance and quality for professional auto recyclers in an easy-to-use method.

Step 1: Order a CAR Tracking Record Here
Whether you are applying for the first time or renewing your certification, CAR participation begins by ordering a certification tracking record. A new CAR Record is required each year and serves as the official tool used to document compliance, guide preparation, and support the annual audit process.
Step 2: Preparation
Begin your audit preparation by downloading or opening the required photo checklist. These images are necessary to document compliance and complete the certification audit.

Step 3: Conduct the Audit
An annual CAR Record is utilized to record the findings of the physical audit conducted each year. Go to Guidance documents for assistance in the process.
